EPDM has outstanding resistance to heat, water and steam, alkali, mild acidic and oxygenated solvents, ozone, and sunlight; but it is not recommended for gasoline, petroleum oil and grease, and hydrocarbon environments. This popular rubber compound is usually the first choice for low torque drive belt applications.

 

FKM has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, oil resistance, high vacuum resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and a variety of chemical drugs. It has been applied to modern aviation, missile, rocket, space navigation, naval ships, atomic energy and other cutting-edge technologies and automotive, shipbuilding, chemical, petroleum, telecommunications, instruments, machinery and other industrial fields.

 

NBR is mainly used to manufacture oil resistant rubber products. Acrylonitrile content in nitrile butadiene rubber (%) has 42 ~ 46, 36 ~ 41, 31 ~ 35, 25 ~ 30, 18 ~ 24 and other five kinds. The more acrylonitrile content, the better oil resistance, but cold resistance is decreased. It can be used in 120℃ air or 150℃ oil for a long time. In addition, it also has good water resistance, air tightness and excellent bonding properties. It is widely used to produce all kinds of oil-resistant rubber products, a variety of oil-resistant gaskets, gaskets, bushing, flexible packaging, flexible hose, printing and dyeing roller, cable adhesive materials, etc. It has become an indispensable elastic material in automobile, aviation, petroleum, photocopying and other industries.

 

HNBR:Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber, also known as Highly Saturated Nitrile (HSN), is produced by hydrogenating acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR).This process improves the heat and ozone resistance, increases tensile strength, and provides superior abrasion resistance. The result is a rubber polymer that performs superior to standard NBR in most sealing applications. Taking advantage of its inherent properties, HNBR can be compounded to provide excellent service life in applications such as oilfield, automotive, and refrigerants. Dynamic applications requiring long service life or in abrasive environments are especially well suited to HNBR. FDA grades are available. Internally lubricated compounds are superior for extended wear dry air applications.
